Lucia's Favorite Things/Experiences

One day I interviewed Mom and asked her the following.......


Color of Clothes: Red, especially red dresses (prefers dresses over blouse and skirt)



Color of House Decor: Baby blue, baby pink and mint green



Flowers: For a vase-Lilies, Roses, Baby's Breathe, but she loves all flowers

For her garden-



Food: Young Lucia-Tacos Dorados, Ground Beef

Old Lucia (her words, not mine)-White Rice, Salad, un Gisado, Green Beans



Type of Foods: American, Chinese, Mexican and only one Italian Dish--Fettuccini Alfredo



Resturants: Olive Garden-because of their bread (she can order it w/o salt), Ruby Tuesdays, and salad; Claim Jumper



Accessories: Purses



Animal/Pet: Little Fishes, like a Beta; Pomeranians



Popsicle: Pineapple or coconut



Fruit: Pineapple



Vegetable: Potatoes



Ice cream: Butter Pecan



Cake: Young Lucia: Spice Cake (she made it so good when her children were little)

Old Lucia: Cheese Cake



Hobbies: Gardening, Crochet (although in her later years her arthritis took over her hands), and Reading



Housework:
She likes---Cleaning, washing clothes and ironing
She dislikes---baking and cooking

City preference: She likes small cities over large ones

Vehicles she has been on: car, train and airplane

Dream Vacation/Trip: To go, visit and explore the place of her birth---she always talks about it.

Movies/Videos:
Anything with animals in it, especially dogs, for example: Old Yeller, Air Bud/Anything with Children in it or children's movies, for example: Mundo de Toys (sorry I can't remember how to spell the word "toys" in spanish), she likes the Pedro Infante movies, like Angelitos Negros.

Television:
She does not like to watch it much. She uses it as a sleeping pill, hahaha. However, if she does stop whatever she is doing she will watch home designing shows and gardening shows. If she had cable she would never leave the HGTV channel.

Reading:
Bible, Apostolic Church Magazine, but her favorite book is Paul Bunyon's 'The Pilgrim's Progress'
