Sergio's Camera-Hospice of the Valley

Abel with his sons, neices and nephews.

Steve and with his neices and nephews.
In this photo above: Lucia Villanueva. It was hard on Mom to watch Dad die this way. She was in denial about his death. It is evident in this photo how much Mom loved Dad. I remember in the ICU how he called Mom his princess, and she was, is and always will be Dad's princess.

In this photo above: from left to right-Abel Villanueva, Francisco Villanueva, and Suzie Salas. I remember this moment. Dad had been in the Hospital in the ICU unable to eat. He was transferred to the Hospice of the Valley, and we were able to give him some flavored ice or something like that, and he was so happy to eat it. He said something like, "Que Bueno es eso!" We laughed and we cried because he was able to eat something. It was really hard to see him die. The people at the Hospice told us it was going to be harder on us then on him, and wow, were they right.
